Overview

Benchmarking improves performance by identifying key trends and best practices used by information security teams across geographies and industries. Managers can compare the performance of their team, the structure of their program, and their budget externally with competitors and best-in-class companies.

IANS surveyed over 300 security managers across three different organizational segments: IT, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), and budgeting and management. All respondents were within North America, and most of their organizations have 5,000 or more employees.
