Ransomware continues to hit organizations of all sizes, and with the latest iterations, sometimes even good backups aren't enough. A more holistic approach is warranted.

In this 3.5-hour Symposium with IANS Faculty member Jake Williams will explain how to foster true ransomware resilience using:

  • New backup strategies (offline, immutable storage, data-only) and fast rebuilds
  • Strong data destruction, monitoring and configuration processes
  • Testing everything, while automating what you can

This session is designed anyone responsible for security architecture, security operations and engineering in their organizations. The topics will be accessible to relative newcomers but will be most useful to those who are already well on their way to surfacing and addressing the challenges.

With the wealth of information on attacks from models like MITRE ATT&CK, organizations know they need to shore up their defenses, but are unsure of where to focus lean resources to make the most impact.

This 3.5-hour symposium with IANS Faculty Member Ismael Valenzuela will explain:

  • What MITRE D3FEND is
  • How it relates to MITRE ATT&CK

This event is for IANS clients and invited guests — there is no vendor sponsorship or presence.
