Track 1: Multi-Cloud Management: A Lessons Learned Approach

Organizations that blazed the multi-cloud trail quickly realized it is littered with pitfalls. From monitoring to compliance to configuration and governance, multi-cloud security is not only difficult to manage but few tools exist to make it work. Using real-world case studies, this symposium:

  • Details the most common pitfalls of multi-cloud (governance, visibility, app management, staff skillsets)
  • Explains how to solve them by focusing on policy, identity management (SSO/MFA), consistent cross-cloud logging, BCDR testing, and more.

Track 2: Hardening Microsoft OneDrive, Teams and Power Automate

Cloud storage services, including OneDrive, are being leveraged as primary distribution mechanisms for ransomware. This symposium recommends the configurations, settings and tools to harden the M365 applications growing in popularity and use among distributed workforces, including:

  • SaaS policies and configurations to reduce the attack surface and likelihood of ransomware proliferation using M365 as the delivery mechanism
  • Hardening transitive trust settings
  • Best practices from posture assessments
