Multicloud Security: Designing for Today and Tomorrow
In the past ten years, many organizations have found themselves with deployments in a number of leading cloud service provider (CSP) environments. In the early years of multicloud, most security teams struggled to determine the right controls and practices to effectively protect their organizations. While this is sometimes still the case today, we’ve learned a lot about what works and what doesn’t in multicloud security architecture, policy and operations. In this symposium, we’ll take those lessons learned and lead a deep dive conversation around what we’ve seen (and currently see) and where the most relevant security trends seem to be heading, with a focus on:
- How cloud detection and response has changed, and what to expect moving forward
- AI in the cloud, and for cloud security operations
- How IAM in the cloud is evolving (what’s worked, what’s failed, and what we’re likely to see)
- New data security trends in the cloud, including data sovereignty and data security posture management
- The current state of CNAPP and other cloud security platforms and services, and what’s potentially next
