The AI Defense Matrix: An Introduction
The Cyber Defense Matrix is a well-known, widely adopted framework created by IANS Faculty Sounil Yu. It is a simple mental model that practitioners can use for a variety of use cases to map, for example vendors, against a matrix of NIST CSF functions and the asset classes/attack surfaces they are protecting. With AI now forcing organizations to rethink security strategies, Sounil and his colleague Lenny Zeltser created another simple mental model for practitioners – the AI Defense Matrix – a structured framework for defending AI systems. In this webinar, Sounil breaks down this new model and shares recommendations for how to apply it.
