Paul Connelly

IANS Faculty

Paul has 28 years in CISO roles and was the builder of the first cybersecurity programs at two of the world’s highest risk organizations - the White House and HCA Healthcare. He also led a security consulting group at PricewaterhouseCoopers for six years. Recently retired from HCA, Paul currently serves as Technical Advisor to the boards of the Organ Procurement & Transplantation Network and UNOS, and Executive in Residence for Cybersecurity Programs at Belmont University.

  • Paul has had thirty-four of his team members selected as CISOs
  • Selected for the Rowlett Trophy, the award for top contributions in the field of Information Security in the federal government, and also the Information Security Executive of the Year for the Private Sector in North America
