2024 Predictions on AI and Zero-Day Vulnerabilities

Here’s Sounil’s take on 2024 cybersecurity vulnerability trends:

One of my predictions is that with tools like ChatGPT, we'll see the use of AI creatively applied against finding zero-day vulnerabilities. And when it comes to vulnerability research, that is one of the key ingredients to be a very good vulnerability researcher. At the same time however, we're going to see a dramatic increase in the number of zero days or critical vulnerabilities that we'll have to patch in 2024.
