New CRO to Help IANS Expand Practitioner-Sourced Intelligence, Peer Insight, and AI-Ready Guidance for Security Teams
BOSTON, August 25, 2026 — IANS, the practitioner-sourced intelligence engine for security teams, today announced the appointment of Kelley Hippler as Chief Revenue Officer.
Hippler brings deep revenue leadership experience across B2B SaaS and global market intelligence organizations, and will help IANS expand the reach of its unique model, which combines real-world practitioner expertise, peer-tested guidance, proprietary benchmarks, and AI-enabled delivery to help CISOs and their teams make faster, better-informed decisions.
Prior to IANS, Hippler served as Chief Revenue Officer at Thought Industries and Briefly Legal, where she led go-to-market strategy and revenue operations. Before Briefly Legal, Hippler held leadership roles at Forrester, including Chief Sales Officer, where she led a global sales and customer success organization of 850 professionals.
At IANS, Hippler will lead Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations as the company scales its digital product offering and brings more of its practitioner-sourced intelligence directly into the workflows security teams use every day. By aligning go-to-market functions around client outcomes, she will help IANS deepen its impact for CISOs, security leaders, and their teams as they translate expert insight and peer experience into practical decisions, priorities, and action.
“I am thrilled to be joining IANS at such a pivotal moment in the company’s evolution,” Hippler said. “Security teams are under pressure to move quickly while making decisions that carry enormous business and risk implications. What makes IANS so valuable is that it gives those teams access to intelligence grounded in the lived experience of active practitioners, the collective perspective of peers, and data that reflects what security organizations are actually doing. As IANS expands its digital product portfolio, including innovations such as the IANS MCP server, we have an opportunity to put that trusted intelligence directly into the tools and workflows that security teams already rely on. I look forward to working with Phil and the leadership team to accelerate growth and deliver even more practical, operationally relevant value to every CISO and security team we serve.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Kelley to the team,” said Phil Gardner, Founder and CEO of IANS. “IANS has always been built around a simple idea: security teams make better decisions when they can learn from practitioners who have faced the same challenges, benchmark against peers, and apply guidance that is immediately relevant to their environments. Kelley’s experience building client-centered revenue organizations will be instrumental as we scale that value through our expanding product portfolio and make IANS Intelligence easier for security teams to access, trust, and act on.”
Hippler has an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Economics from Tufts University.
