Nasty ransomware and storm attacks plagued organizations during the year, and no one was immune -even casinos, a prime target for financially motivated attacks. Storm attacks released a dangerous security bug that enabled paralyzing supply chain damage to downriver targets.

My prediction for cybersecurity in 2024 is that we're going to continue to see a lot of these major attacks like the storm attack against Microsoft and supply chains along with large scale ransomware events directed at critical environments.
