David is Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Holding Ground Decision Intelligence LLC. Holding Ground is a boutique firm that provides technology assessment and advisory services to C-level executives and Boards. David was a pioneer in the information security field, was CISO for two large financial services and several smaller companies. David also has had executive technology positions outside of security including CTO, COO, and Chief Architect for global companies. David regularly advises senior corporate leaders on the business issues of security and technology.
Matt Chiodi brings over two decades of security leadership at industry leaders Palo Alto Networks, RedLock, Cognizant, Deloitte, and eBay to his role as Chief Trust Officer at Cerby. He has led world-class threat research, including the Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 Cloud Threat team. He has served on boards of directors, including Infragard, an FBI/private sector partnership to protect critical infrastructure. Chiodi actively serves on the cybersecurity advisory board at Messiah University, his alma mater.
Olivia is presently the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and VP of IT & Security at a fast-growing SaaS company, and a frequently requested speaker on cybersecurity at events and on podcasts. Olivia is also widely regarded as a mentor and thought leader in the industry and as champion for diversity and equality.
Dennis is an emeritus CISO with nearly five decades of accomplishment leading enterprise IT and information risk management in both private industry and higher education. He has built and led teams that delivered highly successful enterprise-class initiatives and programs in information security, privacy, identity management, messaging, business continuity and emergency notification. Dennis serves as a Distinguished Fellow for the Ponemon Institute and a Contributing Author for Amazon’s Security 2020.
Mr. Sharpe is a long-time (+30 years) Cybersecurity, Governance, and Digital Transformation expert with real-world operational experience. Mr. Sharpe has run business units and has influenced national policy. He has spent much of his career helping corporations and government agencies create value while mitigating cyber risk. This gives him a pragmatic understanding of the delicate balance between Business realities, Cybersecurity, and Operational Effectiveness. He began his career at NSA, moving into the Management Consulting ranks building practices at Booz Allen and KPMG. He subsequently co-founded two firms with successful exits, including the Hackett Group (NASDAQ HCKT). He has participated in over 25 M&A transactions. He has delivered to clients in almost 30 countries on 6 continents. Alex is one of the few who has been part of executive teams, has run business units, and served as a CIO and as a CISO.
Dave has 30 years of industry experience. He has extensive experience in IT security operations and management. Dave is the Global Advisory CISO and Head of the Special Operations & Engagements team for 1Password. He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest & podcast. He is currently a member of the board of directors for BSides Las Vegas. Dave has previously worked in critical infrastructure for 9 years as well as for companies such as Duo Security, Akamai, Cisco, AMD and IBM. Previously he served on the board of directors for (ISC)2 as well as being a founder of the BSides Toronto conference. Dave was a DEF CON speaker operations goon for 13 years. Lewis also serves on the advisory board for the Black Hat Sector Security Conference in Canada and the CFP review board for 44CON in the UK. Dave has previously written columns for Forbes, CSO Online, Huffington Post, The Daily Swig and others.
